The Pomorskie region is situated on the Baltic Sea in the north of Poland. It has a population of 2.2 million (5.7% of the population of Poland) and an area of 18,000 thousand km². The region’s major cities include Gdansk, Gdynia, Słupsk, Tczew and Sopot.
The project „Regions of Poland” was realized in cooperation with the Offices of the Presidents of the 16 regions of Poland.
