Opole Voivodeship is located in the south-western part of Poland in the Odra river basin on the Silesian lowland. From the south-eastern side the region is enclosed by Sudety foothills on the south-eastern side there is Valley of Racibórz while in the central part the Chełmski hump has it's place.
Opole Voivodeship borders with such regionas as: wielkopolskie, łódzkie, śląskie and dolnośląskie and from the souther side we border with Czech Republic.
The project „Regions of Poland” was realized in cooperation with the Offices of the Presidents of the 16 regions of Poland.
